Colleen Larson
My career as a Realtor was inevitable! Growing up as the daughter of a Realtor Mom and an Insurance Claims Dad, I learned early about details, hard work and multi-tasking at work and home. Additionally, my parents had 11 children, so I learned to speak up, think fast, and hold my own at an early age. Now I get to do all those things on behalf of my clients.
My first job was working for an Attorney in Minneapolis as a Title Closer, which later transitioned into a Mortgage Originator. Becoming a Realtor felt like a natural next step, and 30 years later, I’m still loving every minute of it.
I lived in a golf course community for many years and now live the Minnesota dream of living on a lake. I have helped lots of clients in golf course communities and homes with lake shore. I own two rental properties in association communities, so I understand the ins and outs of helping clients with association properties.
While new construction and relocation have been a good fit for me and my clients over the years, I’m always ready to help those making major lifestyle changes such as moving up, down or out of town. Clients have said they appreciate my creative and empathetic approach – with a shot of humor on the side.
As if buying, selling, investing, mortgages, and title work weren’t enough – I also coach and mentor individuals within (and outside) of my industry.
When I am not with clients, you will find me at home enjoying the trail, the lake or trying out new recipes. My 3 daughters are married, and I am lucky enough to have wonderful son in laws and even luckier to have grandkids.
